DearMamma proudly served as the primary charity partner at the 37th Swiss Women's Run in Berne on June 11, 2023. The event was a remarkable success, significantly elevating breast cancer awareness and emphasizing the importance of early detection. Notably, we were thrilled to have Federal Councillors Elisabeth Baume-Schneider and Viola Amherd join our Easy Walk for All, sending a powerful message in the battle against breast cancer.
For the second year in a row DearMamma partnered with Markus Ryffel's for the Schweizer Frauenlauf Bern - the Swiss Women's Run. New this year, we introduced the Easy Walk for All in our efforts to spotlight breast cancer awareness. Participants covered a 3km distance on foot, emphasizing our message: "Check your breasts - save your life."
This year's Swiss Women's Run in Bern saw active Federal Councillors Elisabeth Baume-Schneider and Viola Amherd, along with Sonja Dinner, participating in the Easy Walk for All, reinforcing our cause in beautiful weather. Both will be joining us again next year, together with former Minister Ruth Metzler and many other highly motivated runners and walkers.
The event also featured our DearMamma information stand, where a team of three breast care nurses provided self-check instructions and engaged in meaningful conversations with those wanting to learn more. Meanwhile, Gelateria di Berna delighted attendees with their refreshing ice cream.
